About VirtuOHS
VirtuOHS was founded by Maegan Mackenzie, drawing on more than a decade of occupational health and safety experience across public and private-sector workplaces in Canada. VirtuOHS brings together professional expertise, practical solutions and an approach shaped by the needs of each organization.
Maegan recognized that many organizations care deeply about workplace safety but don't always have the time, resources or specialized expertise to manage every aspect of their programs. She also understood that the most challenging situations often present the greatest opportunities for meaningful improvement, provided there is a willingness to do the work.
That understanding has shaped VirtuOHS into a full-service occupational health and safety provider. Today, our team brings together experienced professionals, practical field knowledge and technology developed in-house to help organizations build, manage and maintain their safety programs. From individual projects to ongoing safety management, we work alongside clients who are committed to making their workplaces safer.
Maegan holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health and an Emergency Management Certificate. She is also a member of the International Institute of Operational Capability in Safety (IIOCS).

Director of OperationsLaura makes sure things come together. She brings genuine care, a practical approach to solving problems and a determination to see things through. From building client relationships to keeping the many moving parts of an engagement on track, she takes pride in making the process easier for everyone involved and seeing good work turn into meaningful results.
James Pritchard
Co-founder & Chief Technology OfficerJames turns complex challenges into practical technology. He leads the development of VirtuOHS's in-house tools, translating the needs of safety professionals into systems that make risk assessments more consistent, information easier to manage and day-to-day safety work more manageable. His focus is on building technology that supports the work, rather than making the work fit the technology.
